The nominations and awards continue to pile up for Maxx Crosby. The superstar defensive end for the Raiders is having the best season of his career, with 11.5 sacks through 12 games.
You can make a really strong case that Crosby has been the NFL’s best defensive player this season. But as good as he’s been on the field, he’s been even better off of it.
On Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders announced that Crosby was their nomination for the Walter Payton Man of the Year for the 2023 season. Only 32 players (one from each team) were selected.

Crosby has already donated one million dollars to Eastern Michigan athletics this year and has helped the community in countless ways. He has an excellent chance of winning the award, which will be announced in Feburary.
