The Las Vegas Raiders are officially down to 80 players on the roster after making several roster moves on Tuesday. That included the release of veteran running back Kenyan Drake, which was announced yesterday.
Here are the players the Raiders released on Tuesday to get down to the league-mandated 80 players:
CB Chris Jones
WR Chris Lacy
RB Kenyan Drake
Drake is the most noticeable cut as the team paid him 11 million for just one season of service. Jones and Lacy were both added by the team earlier this offseason, but neither made a ton of noise during training camp.
Lacy has played for several teams over the last few years, including the Bears and Cowboys. The last time he caught a pass was back in 2019 with the Detriot Lions. Now, the 26-year-old is subject to waivers, along with Drake and Jones.
