There’s big nose tackles and then there’s Marquan McCall. The second year nose tackle stands at 6-3, weighing in at a hefty 379 pounds. And the Raiders just added him to their practice squad.
McCall went undrafted in 2022 out of Kentucky, signing with the Panthers.
He appeared in every game his rookie season in Carolina with no starts. He had 15 combined tackles with two tackles for loss.
Prior to this season, he was waived and then claimed by the Patriots, then waived again a day later. He has been out of football since then. Now he will enter the fray over the final three games with the Raiders, with a shot at being brought back as a reserve/future signing in January.
