Footage of Raheem Sterling poking fun at Jadon Sancho over his persistent mentioning of the fact he is a teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo's has emerged.
Many would leap at the chance to remind everyone they share a dressing room with a five-time Ballon d'Or winner - and Sancho is no different. At the tender age of 21, the former Borussia Dortmund wide-man secured his move to Old Trafford after a lengthy transfer saga - but it was hardly a dream debut campaign.
United finished sixth, scraping Europa League qualification on the final day and mustering up the lowest points tally of their Premier League history. It clearly wasn't all bad in the eyes of Sancho, who is overjoyed at the fact he can consider an icon like Ronaldo a teammate.
The resurfaced clip of Sancho talking to Sterling shows the latter mocking the ex-Dortmund star for regularly bringing it up, with Sterling stating: "Every day Ronaldo, we get it, you play with him."
Sancho didn't exactly take the mocking lying down and simply quipped: "You want his shirt? Just let me know," prompting a big laugh from both of the Three Lions stars. For how long Sancho can consider Ronaldo a teammate remains to be seen.
The 37-year-old has made the United hierarchy aware of his desire to leave the club just one year into his two-year deal. Ronaldo feels as if the Red Devils have not matched his ambition in the transfer market, despite three new additions under new boss Erik ten Hag.
In a surprising twist, Ronaldo has actually failed to garner much attention from elsewhere and has been left red-faced himself over the lack of teams interested in prying him away from Old Trafford. The entire debacle has cast a grey cloud over United's summer so far.

So much so that club legend Gary Neville has called on Ronaldo to give an interview clarifying his stance before he returns to the first-team fold for Premier League action.
“If he’s fit, you start him and I hope he stays. I’m a little bit disappointed in him, I’ll be honest with you,” he admitted.
“Cristiano now is a good age. He’s been the greatest player in the world along with [Lionel] Messi for the last 10 years. He’s got all the experience in the world.
"Would it be too much to ask for him to come out and do an interview to clear things up and tell us what he’s thinking and what actually is happening? Would that be too much to ask a senior player?"
