A shocking fire has broken out at a block of flats in the Gallowhill area of Paisley.
Emergency services raced to the scene on Belmont Road late last night as the inferno tore through the building.
Horrific images from the scene shows the flames engulfing the flat block and fire crews attempting to calm the blaze.

Scottish Fire and Rescure (SFRS) were also spotted using specialist height vehicle to try extinguish the inferno. It is believed that around five ambulances were in attendance.
It is currently unkown whether anyone was injured during the incident.
SFRS told Glasgow Live that the matter is a police incident.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
