After an incredibly tough couple of years for workers across the hospitality industry the malicious and threatening message has left staff afraid.
Owner Nazim told how concerned he was for his staff and after the "nasty piece of work" targeted the fine dining eatery.
The diner on Musselburgh High Street is the second best restaurant in the East Lothian seaside town and is loved by locals and tourists for the mouth watering steaks.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live owner Nazim Ahmed said: "The review in question basically threatened us that they will bomb our restaurant, will knife our staff and put bugs on our floor!
"This is an absolutely nasty piece of work and frankly we are concerned!
"After a very long period of difficult time due to the pandemic, we have been working extremely hard to keep on going! This is extremely demoralising for the management and the staff.
"Normally, we rely a lot on TripAdvisor particularly customers who are travelling the area."

"Also, we work extremely hard to keep up a good ranking. I have come from a hospitality background worked at Gleneagles and few other prestigious outlets.
"At Buenos Aires we serve locally sourced dry aged grass feed beef purchased within 20 radius miles. Everything we served prepared fresh.
"It's worrying for our staff and we are reporting this to the police," he added.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25pm on Friday, 11 March, we received a report of a threatening online communication received by a business on the High Street, Musselburgh. Enquiries are ongoing.”
A spokesperson for Trip Advisor added: "In this particular case, our initial screening technology did not identify this review as grossly abusive. As soon as we became aware of it, the review was removed instantly.
"We receive hundreds of pieces of content onto the site every minute and while we always aim to get it right the first time, we apologise to anyone affected by this initial miss.
"We will take this as a learning opportunity and work to improve our initial detection."
