Chelsea transfer target Rafael Leao has continued to flirt with the club by dropping several hints over a potential move in the future. The 23-year-old was linked with a switch in the summer after an impressive campaign in Serie A for AC Milan, but a deal couldn't get over the line.
Leao's displays haven't become any less impressive since missing out on moving to Stamford Bridge, now representing his country Portugal at the World Cup. The forward managed to bag his first goal of the tournament from the bench after just a few minutes on the pitch and will be hoping they can go all the way.
On return from the tournament, he could be faced with a decision over his future as the January transfer window is right around the corner. Any move to Chelsea would see him link up with Reece James, who he appears to be friendly with already based on social media interactions.

The defender tweeted how Leao was one of the toughest opponents he has faced in his career, to which the forward replied: "My bro," alongside a handshake emoji.
While that could hint at a move to West London already, the goal scorer has already gone one step further in flirting with the Blues. On Leao's TikTok account (RL17_), he has recently followed the official Chelsea account as one of only a handful of others that he follows.
It could be seen as yet another subtle hint in a long saga featuring the Rossoneri ace, which could finally see him wearing the blue of Chelsea.
