Chelsea transfer target Rafael Leao has dropped a potential hint over a switch to Stamford Bridge in the upcoming window with a "handshake" for Reece James. It comes amid plenty of rumours surrounding the Portugal international joining the Blues after missing out on a deal in the summer.
The 23-year-old continues to impress, tallying up 11 goal contributions in Serie A this season as well as one goal in two substitute appearances in the World Cup for Portugal. With his contract dwindling with AC Milan but his stock continuing to rise, it could be an ideal time to land him.
"You can see Leao’s quality and skills, it’s obvious," Chelsea boss Graham Potter said earlier this season when facing the Rossoneri. "But he is part of a strong team. We have to respect that [he is under contract].”

Amid links with a big money move, Reece James name dropped the winger in a Q and A session on Twitter. When asked about the toughest opponents he has faced, the defender replied: "3 hardest players I’ve ever played against are all left wingers! Vinicius Jr, Leao and Mane!"
Leao may have given a transfer hint back, replying: "My bro." along with a handshake emoji to follow it. Naturally that sent Chelsea fans into transfer chaos in the replies, urging him to make the move to Stamford Bridge in January, where there remains to be seen if a bid will be lodged by Todd Boehly.
"Agent Reece," One fan commented in reply to the comment, while another said: "Rafa x Reece linkup at Chelsea needed asap."
