The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.
Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to the jumps fixtures at Hereford and Market Rasen or his two recommended bets/trades on Wednesday, November 27th…
HEREFORD 2.00
HERMES DU GOUET has hardly set the world alight since joining in-form Venetia Williams, scoring just once – a heavy-ground maiden hurdle at Exeter in January 2023 – from ten starts. However, most of those runs came over trips of 2m-2m4f and he took a step forward when stepped up to 3m2f at Fontwell on his final start last term, finishing second by one length. This century, his trainer has a 131 from 648 record (20.2% strike-rate) with her handicap chasers in the month of November and backing them all would have returned a profit of £211.04 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 96.80, A/E = 1.35) and he’s worth chancing to open his chase account. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back HERMES DU GOUET in Hereford 2.00
MARKET RASEN 2.25
The most effective method to decipher these Listed mares’ chases is to break down the participants form in open company (i.e. when taking on male rivals) and when racing against their own sex. Lucinda Russell’s APPLE AWAY has been largely disappointing over fences since her surprise win in the Grade 1 Sefton Novices’ Hurdle at the 2023 Aintree festival but she has only once raced in mares-only company, scoring by almost five lengths at Listed level at Perth last spring. Her full record when taking on her own sex reads 1311 (3-4) and she’ll appreciate the return to this company after her reappearance fourth of seven at Kelso where the trio who beat her were geldings. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back APPLE AWAY in Market Rasen 2.25
