The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.
Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to the three all-weather meetings – Lingfield, Kempton and Dundalk – for his three recommended bets/trades on Wednesday, December 4th…
LINGFIELD 11.20
MUMAYAZ has a very consistent record on Lingfield’s Polytrack making him the ideal type to buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market. Tony Carroll’s five-year-old has form figures at this venue in Class 5 or lower company of 4232242224 and only went down by three-quarters of a length over 6f here last time, staying on strongly at the finish. The step back up in trip will suit and he looks well drawn in stall 6 of 12.
Recommendation: Back MUMAYAZ in Lingfield 11.20
KEMPTON 4.10
Andrew Balding has a fine record with his second time out juveniles who were beaten on their debuts but still ran within ten lengths of the winner, scoring with 118 of the 486 qualifiers (24.3%) for a profit of £64.76 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 94.56, A/E = 1.25). THAISA only went down by half a length when an 11-2 third of 12 over 1m here on last month’s debut, doing best of the closers, and she holds solid claims despite dropping in trip to 7f and facing a fascinating newcomer – Owen Burrows’ Frankel filly ALFAREQA. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back THAISA in Kempton 4.10
DUNDALK 5.30
There is bundles of early pace in this 14-runner 1m handicap from the likes of WRECKING PAUL BALL (stall 3), SOLOMON COOP (stall 11), PUNK POET (stall 13) and NAKASERO (stall 16) and it’s hard to escape the conclusion that the race will be set up for a stalker or late closer. Step forward hat-trick seeking SHAADEN, who steps up in trip after a pair of wins over 7f here. Her sole previous run over tonight’s trip saw her finish unplaced (fifth of 14) but that was over a year ago and she started at 80-1. Patrick Flynn’s four-year-old has improved since and her trainer does well on the all-weather with last time out winners, scoring with 13 of the 48 qualifiers (27.1%) for a profit of £10.63. In the past five years the score is five from 11 (+£17.50) and she can be bought in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or backed each-way at around the 5-1 mark.
Recommendation: Back SHAADEN in Dundalk 5.30
