The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.
Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to the jumps fixtures at Thurles and Musselburgh or his two recommended bets/trades on Thursday, November 28th…
THURLES 12.40
APPRECIATE IT (6-4 in the Spreadex fixed odds betting) tends to jump out to his left and the Willie Mullins-trained ten-year-old could be vulnerable when he reappears at right-handed Thurles on Thursday. The old boy has form figures of 11211171345 (6-11) when racing left-handed for a tiny profit at SP (+£0.12), whereas his right-handed record stands at 311322325 (2-9) for a loss of £6.72. His two right-handed wins came at prohibitive odds (1-12 and 1-5), the latest at Cork back in December 2022, and he looks opposable despite dropping below Graded level for the first time since his Naas win in January 2023. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with his stablemate EMBASSY GARDENS, who has a good record in small fields.
Recommendation: Oppose APPRECIATE IT in Thurles 12.40
MUSSELBURGH JOCKEYS
Sandy Thomson’s two runners at Wetherby yesterday both disappointed despite being relatively strong in the market – 11-2 shot Whosmydaddy was pulled up and 13-2 chance Just A Poet finished a 23-length seventh of 11 – and the Berwickshire handler’s recent social media posts suggest that he’s been held up by the recent cold spell. He has four runners at Musselburgh today and it’s possible that they might not be spot on for their assignments. THE JAD FACTOR (1.35) has been off the track since April when finishing a close second at Kelso for Mike Smith and Thomson doesn’t have the greatest record at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards (the four ex-Mike Smith horses were all unplaced). MARTY MCFLY’s (2.10) sole win under rules came on good to firm ground in the summer, while GANAPATHI (2.45) is 0-11 since leaving Ireland. TOP MAN TOM (3.20) has started at single-figure odds in his two runs since leaving Ben Pauling but has been beaten by 34 and 41 lengths. All four of the yard’s runners are ridden by Ryan Mania and a sell of his performance index in the Spreadex MUSSELBURGH JOCKEYS market looks warranted.
Recommendation: Sell RYAN MANIA in Musselburgh Jockeys
