The Charlie Longsdon-trained ZESTFUL HOPE has yet to win away from Hereford and is 0-7 over fences but he’s shown useful form away from his favourite venue on occasions and his latest 16-1 Bangor fourth in novice handicap chase company wasn’t a bad effort as he spent most of the race on the inside of the track where the ground looked slowest. His forcing style will be an asset at Uttoxeter and the first-time cheekpieces could bring about improvement. His trainer does well with chasers in this headgear, scoring with 18 of the 79 qualifiers for a profit of £23.60 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 11.17, A/E = 1.61).
