Racing Tips: Andrew Mount's Spreadex Analysis - Saturday, November 30th - Sportscasting UK

The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.

Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the main meeting at Newbury for for his three recommended bets/trades on Saturday, November 30th…

NEWBURY 12.40

Horses rated 135 or more are just one from 51 in the last nine renewals of this Sir Peter O’Sullevan Memorial Handicap Chase and this year’s race could again be a good for those lower down the weights. I like the chances of the reappearing DEMNAT (No. 10 on the racecard), who won first time up last term and represents the in-form yard of Ventia Williams, as well as Nicky Henderson’s WISEGUY (No. 11). The last-named has been off the track since pulling up at Cheltenham in April but goes well when fresh, recording seasonal debut figures of 1321 (2-4), with the third place behind Datsalrightgino. The best way to get with the pair is to buy DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER with Spreadex.

Recommendation: Buy DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER in Newbury 12.40

NEWBURY 1.54

GUARD THE MOON could only finish a 33-1 sixth of 13 in a bumper here on his debut just over a year ago but has proved ultra-consistent since that defeat, recording form figures of 11322112 (4-8). The form of his latest Aintree second to Harbour Lake was advertised when the winner went down narrowly at Market Rasen earlier this week and he won’t mind the drying ground, unlike several of his rivals. The Twiston-Davies yard remains in good nick, going close with 12-1 shot Tedley here yesterday, and the six-year-old rates a buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market.

Recommendation: Back GUARD THE MOON in Newbury 1.54

NEWBURY 2.25

Gary & Josh Moore had a double here yesterday and they run two in the Gerry Feilden, an intermediate handicap hurdle. Top weight SALVER had a fantastic first season for the yard, rattling off a four-timer (including a Grade 2 win) before his excellent third place in the Triumph Hurdle when beating the next British-trained runner to finish by over 33 lengths (albeit the home challenge was numerically thin). Softer ground would have been preferable but he’s still worth an interest. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price. Stablemate BALLYBENTRAGH is a huge price, but David Maxwell has two wins and two seconds to his name from five rides for the yard and he could out-run his odds. I’ve had a saver.

Recommendation: Back SALVER in Newbury 2.25
