The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.
Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to Wetherby and Sandown for his three recommended bets/trades on Saturday, December 7th…
WETHERBY 11.37
EMOTIONAL ROLLER caught the eye in handicap hurdle company at Carlisle last month, finishing second despite making the running on the inside rail where the ground was slowest. The son of Valirann can be expected to improve for the switch to regulation fences – his sire’s handicap chasers are 30 from 165 in Britain and Ireland for a profit of £31.72 to a £1 level stake at SP – and he might be able to get loose on the lead. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back EMOTIONAL ROLLER in Wetherby 11.37
SANDOWN 1.15
HENRI THE SECOND was only seen once last term, trailing home last of four here on his chase debut but showed much more after a wind operation and a year off the track when a 16-1 fourth in a 2m4f handicap hurdle, also at Sandown, last month. Paul Nicholls’ handicappers were badly needing their comeback efforts at the time, and it was a highly encouraging effort in the circumstances. The lightly raced seven-year-old is two from two in the month of December, with both wins coming on his second start of the season. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back HENRI THE SECOND in Sandown 1.15
AINTREE 2.07
PERCUSSION’s run of four consecutive placed efforts over the Grand National fences at Aintree came to an end when he was only seventh in last month’s Grand Sefton Handicap Chase over the 2m5f trip but the Laura Morgan yard was badly out of form at the time and he did too much too soon, emerging third best of those to race prominently. The Becher trip of 3m2f will suit better, his stable is back among the winners and the prominently-ridden Grand Sefton sixth Frero Banbou boosted the form when landing the Rehearsal Chase at Newcastle last week. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.
Recommendation: Back PERCUSSION in Aintree 2.07
