Andrew was among the winners on Thursday and has three more stats-based selections on Friday, December 13th…
DONCASTER 11.40
MELON (system – Alderflug)
Progeny of the sire Alderflug have a 20 from 116 record, regardless of code, and backing them blind would have returned a profit of £28.33 to a £1 level stake at SP. MELON contributed with a soft-ground 1m6f win on the Flat at Haydock last time and will appreciate the prevailing underfoot conditions om his hurdles debut.
DONCASTER 1.25
DARGIANNINI (system – Fame And Glory, 9yo+, jumps)
I’m keen to oppose Pyramid Place in this 2m3.5f handicap hurdle as he looked flattered when landing a four-runner Pertemps Qualifier at Kempton last time where his rivals got into a three-way battle for the lead. Best of the alternatives could be DARGIANNINI, a long last of four in that same Kempton race. He is likely to face less pace pressure this time around and progeny of his sire, Fame And Glory, tend to improve with age, with the nine-year-olds landing 24 of their 187 startws for a profit of £102.20.
SOUTHWELL 4.15
IMPATIENTLY (system – Calyx juveniles, all-weather)
Two-year-old progeny of the sire Calyx are 17 from 63 on artificial surfaces in Britain and Ireland for a profit of £122.02 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 9.86, A/E = 1.72). IMPATIENTLY took a massive walk in the betting (13-2 from 100-30) when sixth on her nursery/all-weather debut at Chelmsford last time and looks worth another chance now up in trip.
