Rachel Stevens starred in movie with underwear-clad Holly Willoughby before fame

Rachel Stevens has twirled her way back into the spotlight.

The star was famously part of chart-topping pop stars S Club 7 back in the day, who sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.

Part of the group alongside bandmates Paul Cattermole, Jo O'Meara, Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jon Lee and Tina Barrett, the group were massive names on the celebrity circuit in the 90s.

They even starred in their own feature film, Artistic Differences, which Rachel took centre stage in.

The Mirror reports the movie even helped launch the career of another well-known celebrity - Holly Willoughby.

Then a little-known TV presenter, Holly appeared in Artistic Differences as Paul's love interest, Zoe, when she was a fresh-faced 19 year old.

And 20 years on, Rachel and Holly have reunited as the singer has taken part in the recent run of Dancing on Ice.

Artistic Differences was said to have spookily reflected some things that lay ahead for the musicians.

The premise of the story sees the group face danger as Bradley falls out with Paul and decides to join another band, while Rachel wants to leave the band and get married.

Paul then departed in 2002, citing "artistic differences", and the rest of the band went their separate ways two years later.

Rachel walked down the isle to her own S Club hit 'I've Never Had A Dream Come True' as she said I Do to childhood sweetheart Alex Bourne.

But surprisingly, none of her S CLub bandmates were invited.

She confirmed she was no longer friends with her old colleagues, who performed together from 1999-2003, briefly reuniting in 2014.

But the star insisted there was no bad blood.

"I haven't seen any of them for so long, so no, I don't think any of them will be there," she said at the time.

"It's not because I don't want them, but because we're not really in touch anymore. Our paths have gone in different directions."

Other celebrities who did bag an invite were Corrie star Kate Ford, Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, as well as other ex-Strictly dancers after Rachel competed on the show in 2008.

But fans will be pleased to hear that in a recent interview, Tina claimed the band are now back in touch and even have a Whatsapp group chat.

And she also revealed they haven't ruled out another reunion.

"I have to say, some of the members are up for it," Tina told Gareth Howells on The Hundamental Guide To Life podcast.

Rachel became the third celebrity to be ousted from Dancing on Ice on Sunday night as bandmate Jo O'Meara looked on.
