Rachel Stevens has been booted off Dancing On Ice tonight after a tense skate-off.
The S Club singer exited the show this evening, as the four judges - Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean - chose to save Kye Whyte, who skates into next week's competition.
For the skate-off, Rachel danced to Need You Now whilst Kye impressed the judges with his performance.
Speaking after her exit was confirmed, she told hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern: "It's definitely been a process. I've loved it so much and dancing with Brendyn."
During the show, Kimberly Wyatt was "shocked" to be at the top of the leaderboard with 37.5 points, whilst Regan Gascoigne and Brendan Cole ended up near the top of the leaderboard too with their high-energy routines earning them a total of 35.5 points each.
However, some fans accused the judges of "undermarking" Rachel Stevens, who ended up near the bottom of the leaderboard.
"Very undermarked from the judges for Rachel, that was beautiful. Well done Rachel," one wrote, whilst others said Love Island star Liberty Poole was undermarked too as she got 27.5 out of 40.
"Liberty massively undermarked!!! She did the spin on her own and the routine really fit the vogue theme," a fan wrote.
Meanwhile, Stephen Mulhern stepped in to host the ITV skating show tonight alongside Holly Willoughby, as Phillip Schofield tuned in from home where he is isolating after testing positive for Covid.
He confirmed in a statement earlier this week that he would be stepping in for Phil, as he said: "I’m very much looking forward to being back hosting alongside my good friend Holly this weekend.
"It’s big shoes to fill and I’m wishing Phillip a speedy recovery. I’m a big fan of Dancing on Ice and for one night only I’m thrilled to be rink side watching the action unfold. It’s going to be unbelievable!"
Phillip confirmed he would be missing the show earlier this week as he showed off his positive lateral flow tests.
"Did two tests to be absolutely sure. Sorry Dancing On Ice, have an amazing show. Stephen Mulhern, it'll be so fun," he shared.
