Rachel Stevens' Dancing On Ice lover 'had child with TV exec' months before they met

Rachel Steven’s new boyfriend was just about to become a new dad when the pair first met on Dancing On Ice in November.

The professional skater reportedly welcomed a baby with a TV executive connected to the show in December 2022.

Just four months later in April his relationship with the S Club 7 star was revealed.

And now his future with ITV is reportedly "in doubt" amid the "controversy" surrounding the pair's relationship.

Brendyn had split from his fellow pro skater wife Jessica when his baby boy with another woman was born in late December last year.

It was revealed in April that Rachel began a relationship with Brendyn following her split from her husband Alex Bourne.

A source has now claimed that ITV bosses are concerned about the controversial relationship.

"Bosses remind skaters of their responsibilities before each series," a source told The Sun.

"There will be long, hard discussions before Brendyn is confirmed for another series. His future is in the air."

The new couple were pictured together last week as it was rumoured that he has moved into her £2million North London home.

The radio presenter first met him in November 2021 when they began rehearsing for Dancing on Ice.

The struck up a friendship when they competed on the show and became the third pair to be eliminated.

Just a month before her 13th wedding anniversary Rachel announced that she had split from her property developer husband Alex Bourne.

The pair have two daughters together.

When she was previously asked if she had enjoyed learning to skate on last year’s series she said: "I met incredible people. I still see Brendyn."

Rachel is set to go on tour with S Club 7 (ITV)

Rachel is set to go on tour with S Club 7 later this year after the group decided to reunite.

This comes after Paul Cattermole recently passed away but the other band members said they wanted to go ahead with the tour.

Rachel, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara and Hannah Spearritt will travel the UK later this year where they will perform their greatest hits such as Reach and Never Had a Dream Come True.

Mirror has contacted Rachel and Brendyn's representatives for comment.
