Brian Hayes steered Rembrandt'jac to an opening race victory on Ladies Day at the Galway Races - while his girlfriend Rachael Blackmore awaits her first victory at Ballybrit this year.
Hayes was on the 9/1 shot in the Guinness Beginners Chase for his regular employer, trainer Willie Mullins.
And he was able to pilot the gelding to a half-length victory over the JP-McManus-owned Alfa Mix.

While the jockey is going out with top jockey Blackmore off the track, the pair regularly lock horns on the track, with Blackmore the stable jockey for Henry de Bromhead.
Blackmore has had a frustrating Galway Races so far this week. A second place on Wednesday is the closest the Tipperary woman has come to bagging a winner at Ballybrit in 2022.
It is Ladies Day at Galway Races on Thursday, with the Guinness Galway Hurdle the highlight on the card.
The feature is one of eight races on the card, with the first scheduled for 2.10pm and the last at 6.10pm before the party continues in Galway City.
