2024 Race To Dubai Standings See Rory McIlroy In Pole Position
The top 50 golfers on the Race To Dubai standings will head to the Jumeirah Golf Estates course in Dubai this weekend as the DP World Tour draws to a close.
It’s an event that carries a $10 prize money purse – with the winner baking a cool $3m. You can see the full DP World Tour Championship prize money breakdown here.
While the top ten players in the overall Race To Dubai standings will also share a bonus pool of $6m.
Coming into the tournament it’s the world golf number three Rory McIlroy who is topping the rankings with 4997.36 points and only one player can catch him.
That player is South Africa’s Thriston Lawrence, who is back in second on 3212.64 points.
However, if McIlroy finishes 11th or better in the season finale – Lawrence won’t be able to catch him.
McIlroy is also looking for his sixth Race To Dubai crown – having also won the last two.
"It would be a pass…probably a B."

When Is The DP World Tour Championship 2024?
📅Date: Thursday 14th November – Sunday 17th November
🏌️Course: Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai, UAE
📺 TV: Sky Sports
🤑 Purse: $10m (Winner: $3,000,000)
What Is The Race To Dubai Bonus?
Despite McIlroy being the red-hot favourite to win the Race To Dubai with the best golf betting sites in the UK, there is still plenty at stake for the other players.
In addition to the $10m purse for this last event, the top 10 players on the Race To Dubai standings will also land a share of the bonus – with the winner getting $2m.
How Many Race To Dubai Points Are On Offer at DP World Tour Championship?
Race To Dubai points have been collected through the season. With 3,000 on offer for the early-season tournaments, 5,000 for each of the ‘Back 9’ and then 8,000 on the table for the first three Rolex Series events.
McIlroy has a 1,785-point lead over the second Thriston Lawrence and with just 2,000 points on offer in the final event, it will be a big shock if McIlroy isn’t landing his sixth Race To Dubai title.
In short, Lawrence would need to win the DP World Tour Championship and then also hope Rory McIlroy finishes outside the top 11. There is 216 points on offer for a top 11 finish, which regardless of what Thriston does would be enough for Northern Ireland’s number one to win the Race To Dubai.
