Referencing the plight of American and Israeli hostages, Rabbi Berman expressed gratitude for the return of three young women and offered prayers for peace in Israel and the broader Middle East in the coming years.
Rev. Lorenzo Sewell, senior pastor at 180 Church, and Priest Frank Mann of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, New York, also delivered benedictions during the event.
