R&B singer Brandy has been 'rushed to hospital after suffering a potential seizure' at her home in Los Angeles, it has been reported.
Paramedics were called to her home on Tuesday afternoon and she was rushed to the hospital where she currently remains, according to TMZ.
Sources told the outlet Brandy, 43, "suffered a suspected seizure and is currently hospitalised".
"It's unclear what triggered the medical episode, however, Brandy is expected to make a full recovery," they reported this evening.
Local law enforcement sources told the outlet that they were called by the paramedics to Brandy's home at around midday.
According to the sources Brady's parents have been in hospital with her and it "appears she will recover".
Brandy has not yet addressed the ordeal on social media, with her most recent post still from days ago when she sent support to her brother Ray J.
"Need you bro @rayj," she wrote after her sibling made some worrying posts.
Fans have flocked to send her well-wishes. One commented: "Sending Brandy all the love & prayers."
Another added: "Prayers out to Brandy, who suffered a seizure last night & is now in the hospital recovering."
It was only in February earlier this year when the songstress performed the US national anthem NFL’s NFC Championship, bringing the house down and wowing fans with her still-got-it vocals.
In July, she stepped out to support her pal Jenifer Lewis as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She's had a colourful career, by the time she was 19 she was a full-fledged star having started out in Hollywood as a young teenager.
Brandy began performing as a backing vocalist for teen groups and releasing her first debut album in 1993.
Soon after the songstress landed her show - Moesha - which ran for six series before switching back to music.
Her 1998 duet with Monica - The Boy Is Mine - came off her second album New Say Never, selling 16 million copies and earning her first Grammy Award.
Previously opening up about ageing, she told told Allure magazine: "It's a beautiful thing to grow and to see your face changing, and your body changing, and your mind changing.
"It's inevitable, so I definitely embrace it. But staying fresh and being your best self, that's what it's all about. It's about taking care of your health and being in the shape of your life, and eating the right way."
