QUIZ: Test your knowledge of renowned Dublin author James Joyce ahead of Bloomsday

June 16 is celebrated as Bloomsday in Dublin.

The event is a festival of all things arts and culture as people gather to celebrate the novel Ulysses written by James Joyce.

The ground-breaking fictional tale was set on one day in Dublin, June 16 in 1904, hence why the Bloomsday festival is celebrated on June 16 each year.

Despite being widely renowned as one of the greatest Irish writers to have ever lived, Joyce was not always appreciated in his own time. Ulysses in particular stirred up a lot of controversy in the years after it was published.
