Following an All-Pro season and becoming the second-highest-paid defensive tackle in the league, Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams checked into the NFL Top 100 Players list for 2023 at No. 40.
Williams posted 12 sacks in 2022 and took a major step forward in his career, elevating to elite status among defensive tackles. Only Kansas City’s Chris Jones, with 15.5, had more sacks among defensive tackles last season.
Williams is the fourth Jet to appear on the list to this point. So far, it is wide receiver Garrett Wilson at No. 74, quarterback Aaron Rodgers at No. 51 and linebacker C.J. Mosley at No. 46. At some point, cornerback Sauce Gardner will also appear on the list.
Williams is now one of the top defensive tackles in terms of play and money and now is recognized as a top-40 player in the league.
