Quick thinking Dublin residents prevented potential disaster on Tuesday night after an e-bike caught fire while charging.
The bike went up in flames leaving damage to a north Dublin home but it thankfully led to no injuries. Firefighters from Finglas and Phibsborough attended the scene to douse the blaze.
Pictures shared by Dublin Fire Brigade show fire damage to the flooring of the hallway of the home where it went ablaze. High pressure hose reels were used to put a stop to the spread.

Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Quick thinking residents prevented further damage after an e-bike caught fire whilst on charge last night. Firefighters from Phibsborough and Finglas stations used high pressure hose reels to make the scene safe. No injuries were reported."
