BBC Question Time’s Fiona Bruce breaks down as she announces colleague’s sudden death

Question Time host Fiona Bruce choked up as she announced the death of a long-time colleague on the BBC show on Thursday, 20 February.

Alison Fuller, who worked on the show for 27 years, recruited audiences to ask questions to panellists on the programme.

Paying tribute to her colleague, Ms Bruce estimated that Ms Fuller spoke to more than 100,000 audience members.

Visibly emotional, Ms Bruce added: "It was a very short and sudden illness and we were all shocked by her death and we miss her very much."
