Question Time: How to watch tonight as RMT’s Mick Lynch to appear amid train strikes

Fiona Bruce will present BBC’s Question Time tonight from Stratford-upon-Avon.

She will lead the panel and studio audience through a discussion of today’s hottest talking points, including the ongoing train strikes.

The general secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT), Mick Lynch will be a guest on the panel.

Rail workers are striking for a second day, following the walkout on June 21, and ahead of Saturday’s planned industrial action–which is set to go ahead.

Lynch told Sky News: “It’s a tough job. It will take a lot of progress to get [Saturday’s] strike off. I can’t see that happening today from where I am, but we will work constructively with the companies.”

Around 40,000 union members are striking over an ongoing dispute over redundancies and real-term pay cuts.

Lynch is sure to face tough questions from the studio audience on tonight’s Question Time, especially as YouGov data showed that more people oppose the strikes than support them.

So who else will be on the panel tonight and how can viewers tune in?

Who’s on Question Time tonight?

The panel will include Mick Lynch, the general secretary of the RMT, amid the ongoing train strikes.

The other panellists will be Rachel Maclean, Conservative MP and Home Office minister responsible for Safeguarding, Nick Thomas-Symonds, Labour MP and shadow secretary of state for International Trade; Anne Boden MBE, founder and chief executive officer of Starling Bank; and Ben Habib, chief executive of First Property Group and former Brexit Party MEP.

How to watch Question Time

Question Time will be broadcast on BBC One tonight at 10.40 pm until 11.40 pm. It will be available to stream on iPlayer live and will be made available to watch from the start shortly after the show finishes. It will also be broadcast on BBC Two at 1.40 am on Monday morning.

Question Time airs every Wednesday evening at 10.40 pm on BBC One.
