A third person has been charged with the murder of a man in a motel room at Kallangur in Queensland's Moreton Bay Region.

A 28-year-old woman from Nambour was arrested over the murder of Christopher Lymar at the Pine Rivers Motel at Kallangur shortly after midnight on February 11.

The woman has since been charged with murder and other offences.

Police were called to the motel following reports of a violent disturbance.

They allege the woman and two men, aged 37 and 41, were located by the dog squad in the area shortly after.

Detectives later questioned the trio, who were allegedly known to Mr Lymar, 48.

The woman was later released and the two men were charged with murder.

Police will allege iron bars were used to attack Mr Lymar in his motel room.

The woman will appear in the Caboolture Magistrate's Court tomorrow morning.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with any information, or who may have any relevant footage, to come forward and speak to police.
