Family and friends have paid tribute to a couple and their baby who lost their lives in a highway crash on Queensland's Darling Downs, describing them as "great people".
Jake Pearce, 40, Katy Tattam, 38, and their one-year-old daughter Charlie died on Tuesday when their car collided with two trucks on the Warrego Highway, just outside Oakey.
A fourth passenger, a 36-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The two trucks involved were travelling in opposite directions.
The drivers of both trucks escaped serious injury.
Katy Tattam's cousin, Natty Tattam, said the couple from Roma were "great parents".
"She [Katy] was an amazing person, always there for anyone if they needed help," she said.
"Always made sure her kids were okay, they were great people.
"She was my closest cousin."
Katy Tattam has left behind another young daughter and Mr Pearce had four other children.
Mr Pearce's daughter, Tayla, said her father and Ms Tattam were "the life of the party".
"Everyone was happy when they were around," she said.
"The pain of losing your parents and sibling is such a different pain.
"It's like someone has taken my heart and just tossed it away.
"Charlie was only so young ... I never got to meet my little sister."
An online fundraising campaign has been set up to help the family with costs.
