The Queen surprised a group of dog walkers who looked shocked to see her on a drive to see her horses in her Sandringham stables.
The monarch was snapped near Wood Farm in the front seat of a car being driven by her racing manager John Warren earlier today when she was spotted by the onlookers.
And they seemed thrilled to have spotted Her Majesty, 96, who looked happy and relaxed in the Range Rover sporting a pair of dark glasses and her trademark pink lipstick.
It is believed the Queen has headed to her Norfolk estate following a busy week of engagements north of the border in Scotland last week.
It had been unknown if the monarch, who has recently been suffering from mobility issues, would be able to travel to Edinburgh for the royals' annual Holyrood Week.
However, she spent all of last week in the Scottish capital - making three public appearances and also holding meetings and audiences.
Last Monday, she attended the historic Ceremony of the Keys – the traditional opener to Holyrood week for the Royals - accompanied by her youngest son Prince Edward and wife Sophie Wessex.

Dressed in a powder blue silk wool coat and dress by Stewart Parvin, paired with a hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan, the Queen stood with her walking stick as she was symbolically offered the keys to the city by Edinburgh Lord Provost Robert Aldridge.
While last Tuesday, she was at the armed forces act of loyalty parade at the Palace of Holyroodhouse to mark her Platinum Jubilee in Scotland.
However, last Wednesday, she was pictured without a walking stick during an audience with the First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon.
The Queen's meeting with Ms Sturgeon came just hours after the First Minister unveiled plans to hold a second independence referendum on October 19, 2023.
SNP policy is to retain the Queen as head of state if Scotland becomes independent.
And on Thursday, she rounded off the week by joining her son Prince Charles at the Queen’s Body Guard for Scotland Reddendo Parade in the gardens of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Her Majesty beamed in her dusky blue coat and matching hat by Angela Kelly as she clutched her walking stick before sitting down to watch the parade.
The public outings were the first since the Queen celebrated her Platinum Jubilee, where she appeared at Trooping the Colour and during the bumper weekend's finale with an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Recently, she missed out on the public parade during Garter Day at Windsor Castle and did not make any appearances at Royal Ascot.
