Everybody likes their steak cooked differently - some people like it rare and bloody, while others like it well-done.
But the way the Queen likes it cooked is quite surprising, according to a former member of staff.
Grant Harrold, who worked with the royal family for seven years as a butler to Prince Charles at Highgrove House, told MyLondon that Her Majesty likes her steak well-done; and that it is apparently quite unusual for her to have it cooked like that.
Grant said: "The Queen likes beef well done, she has things well done, which is really interesting.
"I find in the world of aristocracy, things are always kind of medium or rare but she likes it well done.

"(When I heard that) I found it quite funny", he continued, "because that's not normal for most people like her. Most people like it rare or still kind of walking."
He went on to say the Royal Family all have "a very healthy diet" that is "very traditional, just home-cooked food".
Prince William and Prince Harry were brought up on the same sort of diet, he said, adding how much they loved cottage pie.
"The boys were the same, they were brought up on traditional things - so the things we all love," he said.
It was revealed the Queen takes her steak well done when former royal chef Darren McGrady recreated one of her favourite meals, Gaelic steaks, on his YouTube channel.
During the video, he said: "It was really, really important that we got a really good sear on the steaks and cooked her steak well done."
He served the steak with a thick mushroom sauce, which is made with "lashes" of cream because one thing the Queen doesn't care about is calories, he says.
“The Queen was never one for surprises in the kitchen," McGrady said, as he said some of the dishes on her regular menu date back to Queen Victoria’s era, including the kitchen’s classic chocolate cake.
"The Chocolate Biscuit Cake is the only cake that goes back again and again and again every day until it's all gone," he told baking website RecipePlus.
"She'll take a small slice every day until eventually there is only one tiny piece, but you have to send that up, she wants to finish the whole of that cake."
