Queen's University Belfast has increased patrols around their library after reports of students feeling unsafe.
It comes as students took to social media this week to flag issues of feeling uncomfortable while at the McClay Library on College Park Avenue. Some said individuals, who were not students, were accessing the library.
Speaking to Belfast Live a Queen's University spokesperson said the university is aware of the reports.

"The university has been made aware of a security concern and continues to work with the PSNI to resolve the issue," they added.
"In the meantime, we have increased patrolling around the library and nearby areas to ensure that our students feel safe and supported on campus.
"Our 24-hour security service can be contacted on 028 9097 5099 and we would encourage anyone who feels unsafe to get in touch."
PSNI Chief Inspector Neil Beck saod: "Police have been made aware of a report made to security staff at Queen’s University Belfast and are currently making enquiries. We will continue to work closely with the university and have officers on patrol in busy student areas."
