Royal celebrations are indulging the nation in some time off, with bank holidays and plenty of jubilations planned this year.
Just last week our longest reigning monarch turned 96 years old and more celebrations await in the coming months.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June, marking her 70th year in service, will honour Her Majesty with an extended bank holiday week.

Friday June 3 will be the official national bank holiday this year, with a service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.
The weekend will be rounded off with the Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday June 5.
