Queens' Park have been issued with a 'notice of complaint' after Hearts loanee Euan Henderson played in their Scottish Cup tie against Inverness despite being ineligible.
The ambitious south side outfit are having a superb season in the Scottish Championship, and came away from the Caledonian Stadium with a win on Tuesday evening to progress to the next round against Livingston. Henderson, who signed on loan from Hearts late on in the January transfer window, started in the Highlands - though problems have arisen from the appearance, with the Scottish FA confirming they have breached Rule 12 of the competition rules.

It stems from the original tie, which was supposed to take place on January 21, though it was postponed. As the date for the original game came before Henderson signed for Queen's Park on January 27, he wasn't eligible to play in what should have been the original date set.
As a result, Queen's Park have confirmed they will be carrying out an internal review. Boss Owen Coyle will hear of the FA's final decision on Friday, February 3 - giving them just over a week to find out if they will be able to play Livingston away in the next stage, or if they will be banished and Inverness continue instead.
A club statement read: "Queen's Park Football Club would advise that they are in discussions with the Scottish Football Association regarding the eligibility of a player in last night's Scottish Cup tie at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
"An internal review to establish the facts will be carried out and the club will be making no further comment until this is done."
