It's fair to say that the first few weeks of 2022 have not been without drama for the Royal Family.
The Queen's family have seemingly lurched from one crisis to the next - giving her a rotten start to the year.
The scandal surrounding the Queen's son Prince Andrew has dominated the headlines for much of the first part of 2022.
She's also had to deal with the cash-for-honours scandal and her grandson Prince Harry's demands over security when he is in the UK.
Meanwhile, this week she has also been up against Covid, having tested positive for the virus on Sunday - and has said to be experiencing "mild cold-like symptoms".
And now a palace insider has warned it is all going to "take a toll" on Her Majesty.
The source told People Magazine : “It's a drip-feed of negativity for the monarchy. I've not known such a tumultuous time as this.”
They added: “It just feels to be one thing after another for the Queen. It's going to take a toll.”

It is t he second time this week she has postponed virtual engagements since the news she tested positive for the virus on Sunday.

“Her Majesty is continuing with light duties. No other engagements are scheduled for this week.”
