After a five-year break, the Queen's Comedy Club is set to make its return to the newly revamped Mandela Hall.
Started in 1993 by a young Colin Murphy, the club ran for 25 years and has seen most household names perform at the club. Peter Kay, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Sarah Millican, Ed Byrne and Jason Byrne to name just a few.
In 2018, with the impending closure of the Mandela Hall and the club being in its 25th year, the team behind Queen's Comedy Club felt it was a good time to bring it to a close.

Club promoter Donal McGilloway told Belfast Live that they are "delighted" to be kicking the club off after a five-year hiatus in the newly rebuilt Mandela Hall in September.
The return starts with two back to back shows on Monday 19 and Monday 26 September before moving to a usual fortnightly slot.
Donal said: "I am delighted to see the club return and with such a strong line-up. We have some past club favourites performing as well as some of our personal favourites from recent years.
"Not to mention such a strong crop of local acts. In the past five years, Northern Ireland's comedy scene has gone from strength to strength and the quality of the comedians as a result is so strong."
Headliners for this year's run include Father Ted legend Ardal O'Hanlon, ITV's 'The Chase' star Paul Sinha, RTE's Clear History Host Kevin McGahern and club favourites Chris Kent and Eleanor Tiernan.
Our support acts showcase some of the best Northern Irish acts that are dominating the thriving local comedy scene at the minute including Teresa Livingstone, Aaron McCann, William Thompson, Diona Doherty, Aaron Butler and Alan Irwin.
Picking up compere duties is Lurgan's very own Micky Bartlett.
Donal added: "When I was a student, it was such a big part of our week to go to the club, so I am delighted we're able to bring that back for a new generation of students, not to mention Belfast comedy lovers in general."
New resident compere Micky Bartlett said: "I’m so excited to be hosting Queen's Comedy Club. When I started working as a comedian it was the gig everyone wanted to do.
"Although filling Colin Murphy’s shoes is making me want to crap my pants!"
