Queen Camilla 'boiling with rage' over thoughts of Harry's return to the royal family

Prince Harry’s hopes of reuniting with his ailing father, King Charles III, may be on shaky ground, as Queen Camilla and Prince William are reportedly standing firm against his return to the royal circle.

According to a report by RadarOnline, Queen Camilla, 77, and Prince William, 42, have emerged as the main roadblocks to Harry’s desire to be by his father’s side, amid the monarch’s ongoing health issues. King Charles, 76, was hospitalized on March 27 for observation following “temporary side effects” from cancer treatment, prompting him to cancel multiple royal engagements.

While Prince Harry, 40, has reportedly expressed a wish to be close to the King during this time, royal insiders claim the resistance from his stepmother and estranged brother is “intense.” One insider described Camilla as “boiling with rage” at the idea of Harry visiting the monarch, adding fuel to long-standing tensions.

“The royal insiders claimed unforgiving William, 42, and Camilla, 77, have let it be known that they don’t want Harry anywhere near the monarch,” the report stated. The strained relationships within the family are nothing new. Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex has launched a series of public criticisms against the royal institution.

His explosive memoir painted Camilla as a “conniving backbiter” and William as a “petty hothead,” driving a further wedge between him and the core royal members. Despite the ongoing estrangement, Harry had sparked speculation about a potential reconciliation when he made a brief visit to the UK last year following the announcement of King Charles’s cancer diagnosis.

The Duke stayed for only 24 hours before returning to his home in Montecito, California. Although Harry’s latest effort to reconnect comes at a time of vulnerability for the royal family, insiders suggest that wounds from the past remain too deep for an easy reunion.

Meanwhile, King Charles, described as a “workaholic,” continues to battle health challenges with limited public appearances, adding further strain to an already tense family dynamic.

As the monarchy navigates both internal and external pressures, it remains to be seen whether familial bonds can overcome past betrayals—or whether Queen Camilla and Prince William’s stance will keep Prince Harry firmly on the outside looking in.
