Quandre Diggs: “Safe to say I’m still that guy”

The Seattle Seahawks look like they are rebuilding the Legion of Boom in a meaningful way. Their secondary, on paper, looks to be the best its been in years. Led by star second year corner Tariq Woolen, Jamal Adams, Julian Love, 2023 first round pick Devon Witherspoon, and of course, Pro Bowler Quandre Diggs.

Diggs has been an emotional leader on Seattle’s defense ever since the Seahawks acquired him in a trade with the Detroit Lions in the 2019 season. During his three years in the Emerald City, Diggs has made the Pro Bowl in each season he’s worn the navy and neon.

Despite a slow start to the year (by his standards), Diggs rounded out into being yet again one of the best players on the team. Not one to shy away from social media, Diggs took to Twitter to share his opinion of himself.

Given what he has accomplished in Seattle, and quickly etching his name as one of the better defensive backs in team history, it’s hard to argue with his assertion. Of course, the Seahawks will need him to remain “that guy” if they want to build on their success from last year.
