Liverpool lifted their first piece of silverware for the season on Sunday evening after a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final.
Neither side were able to break the deadlock inside the 90 minutes and extra-time but the penalties were calmly taken as all 11 players from both teams were required to step up.
Caoimhin Kelleher slotted his home before fellow goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga fired his over the bar at the Liverpool end as Wembley erupted.

Wembley belonged to Liverpool again

"No wonder they celebrated like this. Liverpool are in contention for three other trophies of greater lustre but they fought hard for this and revelled in getting their hands on the cup."

Diaz has hit the ground sprinting

"These remain thrilling early days for the Colombian. N evertheless, his cup final performance underlined what Premier League defenders know. He is a nightmare to deal with.
"The greatest tribute to the £37million signing is that he was more dynamic than his senior partners Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
"Without him, and given the warm-up injury to Thiago Alcantara, it is conceivable Liverpool would have come up short against Chelsea’s strength in depth.
"Now, Liverpool even match that. They are underachievers no more, and there is more to come for this Liverpool team."
