A man is due to face court after being charged with 121 child sex offences against 14 victims over a 22-year period in far north Queensland.
Police arrested the 68-year-old at Yarrabah, near Cairns, on Saturday following a 21-month investigation into alleged offences between 1994 and 2016.
The probe was launched after a complainant came forward in June 2021 with detectives finding a further 13 victims.
"The bravery of the survivors of this matter coming forward has allowed police to progress it to this stage and support is being provided to these people and their families," police said in a statement on Monday.
"Anyone with information or who believes they or someone they know may have been impacted by these matters are asked to contact police."
The man has been charged with 12 counts of rape, 80 counts of indecent treatment of a child, 19 counts of supplying a drug to minor, six counts of procure to commit, and with sexually assaulting a child under 16 with intent, unlawful intercourse of a child under 16 years and unlawful sodomy person under 18 years.
He was due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on Monday.
