QAnon followers believe Trump is still the president in ‘scary’ Daily Show video from Iowa rally

Believe it or not, despite it being very obvious that Donald Trump did not win the 2020 US election, some of his supporters still think he is the president of the United States.

The former US president recently held a rally in the state of Iowa and The Daily Show sent along their reporter Jordan Klepper, a veteran of Trump rallies, to get a feeling of the consensus amongst the divisive Republican’s most ardent fans.

Odd moments included a flag depicting Trump riding a velociraptor and two of his supporters, clad head-to-toe in Trump merchandise, claiming that this is “not a cult.”

However, the most alarming thing that Klepper noticed was that the QAnon conspiracy theory has not died down among Trump supporters and appears to be just as popular as ever.

One man that Keller talks to claims that Trump has “never left” the White House and he was 150,000 per cent convinced that Trump was still the POTUS. The man added that Trump has been “flying around the world on Air Force One” and that Joe Biden was “faking it.”

The man doubled down on his belief when asked who was running the government and the military but was reluctant to blame Trump for America’s botched departure from Afghanistan.

Elsewhere in the video, Trump supporters blame the violent January 6th riot at the US Capitol on ANTIFA, the FBI and the CIA; claim that the infamous QAnon Shaman was part of a conspiracy video linked to Afghanistan and that the Biden administration is deepening division in the US while wearing t-shirts that are swearing at Democrats.

The video, which has already been viewed more than 500,000 times has left people gobsmacked at the minuscule level of self-awareness and shamelessness on display.

If you thought this was unbelievable just imagine what it’ll be like if Trump announces he’ll be running for president again in 2024.
