Vladimir Putin 's propaganda cheerleader has been seen enjoying a seaside break in Dubai just days after threatening Britain with a radioactive tidal wave.
Dmitry Kiselyov, 68, has not been sanctioned by the UAE as he staying at the five-star Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel with his eighth wife Maria.
Prices start from £1,236 for one night, for two adults in a Junior Arabian Suite with access to Wild Wadi Waterpark.
The private suite has one bedroom, one living room, one huge bed and one sofa bed.
The head of “propagandist” federal state news agency Rossiya Segodnya told viewers on Sunday that Britain should be flooded twice with Putin's most advanced nuclear weapons.
The TV anchor proposed the use of Russia's new hypersonic big beast Satan-2, officially named Sarmat, to wipe the country off the map.
He went on to say that Putin should "plunge Britain into the depths of the sea” with its “underwater robotic drone Poseidon” causing a 1,640-ft tsunami.
Kiselyov, who has been sanctioned by the UK and EU, was seen peacefully relaxing in the sun while his comments were met with fierce backlash online.
Senior Ukrainian diplomat Olexander Scherba, ex-ambassador to Austria, posted: “One of Putin’s chief propagandists Dmitry Kiselyov, a guy who breeds hate & threatens the world with a nuclear war on a weekly basis, was sighted in Dubai. Enjoying life where he’s not banned yet.”
Kiselyov also advocated sinking Britain in revenge for a comment Boris Johnson never made about striking Russia with a nuclear attack.
Downing Street dismissed the claim - widely repeated in Russia’s state media - as “another example of disinformation peddled by the Kremlin”.
He continued: "The island is so small that one Sarmat missile is enough to drown it once and for all…
“Russian missile Sarmat [aka Satan-2], the world's most powerful…is capable of … destroying an area the size of Texas or England.
“A single launch, Boris, and there is no England anymore. Once and for all.
"Why do they play games?”
Kiselyov added: "Another option to plunge Britain into the depths of the sea is the Russian underwater robotic drone Poseidon.
"It approaches the target at a one-kilometre depth with the speed of 200 kilometres per hour [125mph].
"There is NO way to stop this underwater drone. It has a warhead with a capacity of up to 100 megatons.
"The explosion of this thermonuclear torpedo close to Britain's shores will raise a giant wave, a tsunami, up to 500 metres [1,640ft] high.
"This tidal wave is also a carrier of extremely high doses of radiation.
“Surging over Britain, it will turn what is probably left of them into a radioactive desert. Permanently unusable for anything.
“How do you like this prospect? And Putin warned about this, back on February 24 [if anyone interfered with his special military operation].”
The Sarmat hypersonic 208-ton ’Satan-2’ intercontinental ballistic missile has a speed of 15,880mph and is claimed by the Kremlin leader to be “unstoppable”.
It is due to be deployed in the autumn.
The Poseidon - being readied for service - is described as a giant nuclear-capable torpedo.
Details of the high-speed 125 mph underwater propulsion system of the atomic-powered underwater drone are regarded as top secret.
Putin has boasted that it has an “unlimited range”, and said three years ago: “Work is going according to plan.”
Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu also said in 2019 that sea tests had been successfully completed.
However, there are also claims of delays and that it may not be ready until 2028.
