When I woke up this morning, I just had a feeling it was going to be a great day. It turns out my hunch was 100 per cent correct because the trailer for the third season of the Sex And The City spin-off series, And Just Like That, has been released! Plus, we now know the date the beloved series will hit streaming!!!
It may be 7am while I write this, but I’ll be making Cosmopolitans in the office to celebrate. Who wants one!?

Is there a trailer for And Just Like That season 3?
Yes, there is! You can check it out below.
From the trailer, it looks like we’re in a for a treat!
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) is stepping into fiction writing after she realised she’d had enough of sharing her own romantic exploits with the world. She is also exploring her options with Aiden (John Corbett) as he navigates fatherhood.
Meanwhile, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) seems to be thriving in her new job and hitting it off with a younger co-worker. Charlotte is still struggling with the ups and downs of motherhood as her kids enter their teenage years.
Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury) is single again and struggling with starting fresh as she dates in her 50s. Whereas the always put-together Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker) seemingly develops a crush on a colleague. Could there be an affair on the cards?
Only time will tell.

When does And Just Like That season three hit streaming?
Season three of And Just Like That will be released on May 29. The season consists of 12 episodes, which are released weekly, so start to tee up those watch parties with your pals now.

Who is in And Just Like That season three?
Of course, the ensemble cast is back. You’ve got Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda and Kristin Davis as Charlotte.
Aiden (Corbett) is returning as Carrie’s long-time off-and-on-again beau, David Eigenberg is back as Miranda’s ex Steve, and Evan Handler is reprising his character Harry Goldenblatt, aka everyone’s unproblematic bald king.

Returning alongside our long-time favourites is Sarita Choudhury as the self-sufficient Seema Patel and Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley.
Cathy Ang, Niall Cunningham and Alexa Swinton return as the kiddos of Miranda and Charlotte, Lily, Brady and Rock, respectively.
Thankfully, Anthony (Mario Cantone) and his much-younger Italian boyfriend Giuseppe (Sebastiano Pigazzi) back for more sexy tomfoolery.

I’m sure many people reading this will be pleased to know that Che Diaz (Sara Ramírez) does not have a role in season three. Professor Nya Wallace (Karen Pittman) will also not be returning for the new series.

And Just Like That season three will see the addition of a heap of new characters played by the likes of Rosie O’Donnell, Mehcad Brooks, Logan Marshall-Green, Jonathan Cake and Racquel Chevremont.
What happened in the And Just Like That season two finale?
When we last saw the gals, Carrie had just given up her iconic apartment in the Upper East Side to the gorgeous, light-filled home she’d purchased after the death of her husbad, Big (Chris Noth). Carrie had also said a bittersweet goodbye to Aiden (John Corbett) who wasn’t ready to totally commit to a relationship with her because he had to take care of his kids.
Meanwhile, Miranda (Nixon) is thriving after landing a job at the Human Rights Watch and Charlotte (Davis) is a working woman again, strutting down the shiny floors of Manhattan’s finest art galleries.

Fans went absolutely bonkers for the And Just Like That season two finale ever since news broke that original Sex And The City cast member Kim Cattrall would be reprising her character Samantha Jones for just one cheeky scene.
Cattrall famously turned down the chance to be a regular in the reboot due to a long-running feud with her former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. Honestly, I reckon the Samantha-shaped hole in the revival has not been filled even with the introduction of the fun new characters so like many Sex And The City fans, I was stoked she was coming back — even just for a second.

It turns out it took a lot to coax Cattrall to come back for just one scene, too. In fact, she had a whole HEAP of demands, including having the original stylist, Patricia Field, come back to style her.
Now that is a true Samantha move if you ask me.
Personally, I’m fkn stoked that And Just Like That is back for another season. It just means I can spend more time with my pals and scream every time Miranda puts on a strap-on.
You can watch seasons one and two of And Just Like That on Binge.
