She has ended up back in RSPCA kennels after being unable to win over her new owners.
But she isn't letting this setback stop her from searching for the right match.
Little Skye, a greyhound crossbreed, is searching for a "super special home" after being returned to the RSPCA's Newport Animal Centre.
The two-year-old dog, who has been described as a "baby", is a "sweet and playful girlie", who could make a well-rounded pet to the right owner.
A statement reads: "You may recognise her as Skye was with us before but was unfortunately returned.

"This little lady is now available for rehoming again and is looking for a super special home for a super special pup!
"Although she may not look it, Skye is still a baby and is still learning boundaries so will need a calm home with owners that are experienced with her breed.
"Sometimes, Skye gets overexcited and doesn't know how to control her playful nature and is prone to jumping up and mouthing."
As she is only two-years-old, Skye's new owners must be willing to continue her training so she can grow into a "good girl".
"She is highly intelligent and loves to learn which is very helpful when it comes to training," the statement adds.
"Despite loving her toys and playtime, Skye also enjoys her down time and having a cosy nap."
Skye needs a home with a large secure garden to burn off all her extra puppy energy - and would prefer to be the only animal in the house.
She would be best suited to an adult-only home as she "doesn't like to share".
The statement reads: "Packed full of energy and pure delight, she's well worth the work required.
"You will be rewarded with undying love and loyalty and entertainment."
