Sean Quinlan and Telhimlisten backers certainly won't want to see this one again!
Punters were left aghast in today's opening race at Sedgefield when Irish-born jockey Quinlan and his mount Telhimlisten somehow snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Tipperary man Quinlan was several lengths clear on the Jennie Candlish-trained seven-year-old when he spectacularly unseated at the final obstacle having brushed through the top of the fence.

Quinlan became unbalanced on landing after the horse jinked and although the horse didn't fall, he exited out the side door. The 2/9 favourite Telhimlisten was one of only two runners in the race and handed victory to his only rival Grey Skies (100-30).
Incredibly, Quinlan and his mount were matched in-running for £14,000 at 1.01 on the Betfair exchange, their minimum odds, while just £4.67 was matched at 1000-1 on the winner Grey Skies.
Several punters expressed fury on social media and Telhimlisten's owner Adam McCormack tweeted: "I can only apologise to anyone who backed Telhimlisten there. I'm not there today and not sure what has happened."
Winning jockey Theo Gillard, who sealed a double for McCain on Forcing Bull in the 2m1f novice hurdle, said on Sky Sports Racing: "Grey Skies jumped really well and Sean made it a test and went a good gallop. We were beaten but got lucky."
