Newcastle United will be looking to seek revenge for their dramatic 2-1 defeat at Anfield when they welcome Liverpool to St James' Park on Saturday.
The Magpies have gone 17 league games unbeaten since losing on Merseyside, but have drawn five of their last six games in the Premier League (W1).
Liverpool registered their first league win of 2023 with a 2-0 triumph over Everton on Monday, after suffering heavy defeats against Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively.
Pundits from across the media have been giving their predictions ahead of the game and ChronicleLive have rounded them up for you.

Chris Sutton
Sutton wrote in his weekly BBC Sport column: "Have Liverpool turned the corner with Monday's win over Everton? I am not sure about that. Jurgen Klopp's side did look more like their old selves, especially with the way they counter-attacked, but their defence was not exactly stretched.
"The question with Newcastle is whether they are just running out of steam. They looked short of energy against Bournemouth last time out. Bruno Guimaraes, who is still suspended, is a big miss too. They just don't have the same control in midfield without him.
"Liverpool are the only team to have beaten Newcastle in the league this season. I don't see them doing the double - but I am going to sit on the fence and go with a draw.
Sutton's prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Liverpool
Mark Lawrenson
Lawrenson observed in his Paddy Power predictions: "Newcastle have loads of draws of late and they just can’t win at the moment so I think we’ll get another here. The interesting thing for Liverpool is that they’ve got Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday and those games, home and away, basically have their whole season hinging on them.
"Thiago’s out but Diogo Jota and Jordan Henderson are back, they might get more minutes with a view on the Champions League matches. Given how hard Newcastle are to beat I think this will be another draw for them."
Lawro's prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Liverpool
Paul Merson
Merson wrote on Sportkeeda: "This is a massive game. Liverpool are back to their high-tempo style of play, and they're closing down very well. Some of their players played very well against Everton. They're not at their best yet, but they're getting there.
"This is such a hard game to call. Liverpool are in for a big few days - and they'll face Real Madrid after their Premier League game against Newcastle. The Champions League is their last chance to win a trophy. A draw here doesn't really help them, to be honest. They'll need to win this match.
"Cody Gakpo looked like a different player after he scored his goal. As a professional footballer, if there's one thing you can bottle up and keep forever, it's confidence. After Gakpo scored his goals, he was steaming past players. I'd play him this weekend alongside Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah.
"Newcastle are a solid team, but they're not winning many football matches. If Liverpool win this game, they've got every chance of making it into the Premier League top four. I think this game will end in a draw - it suits Newcastle, but it doesn't suit Liverpool."
Merson's prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Liverpool
