Darren Bent has explained why he would choose Manchester City ace Raheem Sterling over Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar.
Sterling is currently wanted by Chelsea who see him as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku. The Englishman is admired by Thomas Tuchel and managed 17 goals and nine assists for Pep Guardiola's side last season.
Meanwhile, Neymar managed 13 goals and eight assists in just 28 appearances compared to Sterling's 47. Despite these stats, Bent is adamant that he would prefer Sterling in his team.

He told talkSPORT : "I would rather take Raheem Sterling over Neymar in the Premier League. Sterling, you know what you’re going to get."
Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere cautiously agreed with Bent, adding: "It is a hard one, I like them both. Going on the cautious side you would take Sterling because you know what you get.
"He is proven. If you were taking a gamble and had all the money in the world which some of these teams do, you would probably take both, or just take Neymar."
