Two rugby coaches got into a fight amid rare and shocking scenes.
The incident occurred in a game between Rugby New York and Houston Sabercats in the USA's 'Major League Rugby' on Sunday.
The Houston coach is South African Pote Human, who used to be in charge of URC side Bulls. He took issue with a yellow card and became violent with New York's high performance coach Ollie Richardson during the break.
The footage was replayed on the broadcast to viewers and has been spreading like wildfire on social media.
Human entered the field shouting and pointing at Richardson, before appearing to slap him in the face. The New York man was obviously incensed and threw a fist towards Human before being held back by others.
He got away from their grip and went for Human, throwing a punch and this time connecting with the South African.
Players and coaches flooded the scene to dissipate the chaos as the violence was brought to a halt. According to SARugbyMag, both coaches were ejected from the game as a result.
The coaches are likely to face further action from the MLR.
Houston won the game 34-27, and are now four points behind league leaders San Diego Legion, where 41-year-old All Black legend Ma'a Nonu has plied his trade for three years.
