Global sportswear brand Puma is set to open a new store at Gloucester Quays shopping centre.
The company will open a 2,184 sq ft outlet store at the mall in June, opposite kitchenware business Le Creuset’s shop.
Puma is the latest signing at the Gloucestershire retail complex this year, following the arrival of high street giant Next and international footwear brand Timberland.

Puma said Gloucester Quays had a reputation as being” a hub for leading brands within the South West”, making it “a natural home” for the firm’s new outlet.
Gloucester Quays owner Peel L&P said its asset had reported strong performance across all sectors in 2022, particularly for its footwear and sportswear retail clients - which include Adidas and Levi’s - with sales up 8% on pre-pandemic levels.
Paul Carter, asset director at Peel L&P, said: “Gloucester Quays is consistently demonstrating the quality of its retail line-up, evidenced by the signing of global sports and apparel brands like PUMA. We are committed to providing visitors with an extensive range of vibrant new retail options, and high-quality specialist brands that diversify the outlet’s offer.
“We have already introduced Timberland and NEXT this year, so the signing of PUMA is a continuation of our efforts to keep Gloucester Quays fresh and exciting.”
Puma was founded in Germany in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler, after he parted ways from his brother and business partner Adolf, who went on to form Adidas.
