The Los Angeles Rams intend to trade wide receiver Cooper Kupp in the near future, which will leave wide receiver Puka Nacua as the main receiving threat for the Rams going forward.
After Kupp broke the news on Monday night, Nacua shared a very sad reaction to the impending loss of his buddy in the Los Angeles position room.
“So I thought it was just the NBA trade season,” Nacua shared on Twitter (X) about the impending Kupp trade. Dang.
Of course, the city of Los Angeles just watched a truly seismic trade go down with the Lakers.
Seeing Kupp get traded would be yet another major domino to fall for the city’s sports scene, and Nacua sure doesn’t seem like he was ready for the difficult news that he’s about to lose his running mate.
It really isn’t just NBA trade season, is it? A bummer for all involved.
